Two points. Firstly, the north polar ice, as you describe it, is melting at record pace. In fact, its melting at its fastest pace in 40 years, adding 14,000 tons of water to global sea levels every second.

Secondly, David Attenborough’s latest TV programme, Climate Change: The Facts, was aired by the BBC, one of the world’s most prestigious new channels. They do not engage in scare mongering, and their facts have most certainly not been debunked by the IPCC. Have you read their latest climate report? If not, please find it below. I think you’ll find that their reports have been too conservative owing to the fact each comment must be approved by a consensus system. In the words of one writer, a “climate genocide is coming.”
